Each week, we follow the same structure during our program. We start off with an icebreaker activity and end with a reflection. In between those short activities, we have four main categories of lessons. We start with a fitness activity and a lesson of nutrition. After, we teach the girls about self-confidence and healthy relationship tips. We introduce the girls to a variety of activities that they can use to live healthy and empowered lives long after the program is complete.
Self-Confidence 

 

Each week, we try to empower the girls and boost their confidence. By showing them powerful female role models in society and teaching them to hear motivational messages in music, the girls can be inspired by the media and build up their self esteem.

Nutrition 

 

During each week, we provide the girls with a healthy snack. We show them what ingredients go into the snack and give them a short lesson in the nutritional value of the snack. We cover all the different food groups and the importance of having a balanced diet.

Fitness

 

To teach the girls about fitness, we introduce a new type of exercise each week. Our goal is to show girls that exercising can be fun and healthy. By alternating between fun fitness games and stretching, the girls can take all the exercises that we teach them and do them daily.

Healthy Relationships with Friends and Family
​

We want to encourage the girls to surround themselves with positive people. We work on building up a bond between the girls and teach them the signs of healthy vs. unhealthy friendships. We want the girls to respect each other be kind to everyone.
